I downloaded and installed the program three days ago and it’s working fine. It looks alot to  me like  another one of microsoft’s free program named Windows Defender, which is microsoft version of an antispyware program. From what I gather at microsoft’s web site, this new antivirus program will replace windows defender by incorporating the antispyware functions. It does not take up much memory space, and the program will auto-updates itself.

My overall experience with this microsoft antivirus program is good, it’s a really simple, easy to use program that will give you at least some degree of protection from internet threats out there. So if you don’t know which antivirus program to put in your pc, this may be the simple antivirus program that will give you the peace of mind. It’s call Microsoft Security Essentials.
